Our Impact
A Dual Approach to Community Strengthening: Championing Youth and Animal Welfare
Team Godwin Foundation works to improve lives across Tampa Bay. Through partnerships with youth-serving organizations and animal rescue groups, we help build a stronger, more compassionate community, one young person, one animal, and one act of service at a time.
Youth Initiatives
We partner with organizations serving at-risk and underserved youth to deliver meaningful, tangible support where it’s needed most. From back-to-school essentials to holiday gift programs, our focus is simple: Ensure every young person feels seen, supported, and valued.
During the 2026-2027 season, we will have: Launched a Back-to-School Bash in partnership with Friends of Joshua House, supported field trips for students supported by Metropolitan Ministries, and provided monthly birthday parties for children in foster care in partnership with Celebrate Birthdays. These partnerships were created to provide at-risk youth the opportunity to experience the joy of just being kids.
Animal Welfare Programs
We work hand-in-hand with Hillsborough County Pet Resources Foundation to support their critical rescue operations. Our partnerships provide funding for medical care, supplies, facility improvements, and adoption programs. Throughout the year, we sponsor adoption fee waivers and promotional events that help animals find their forever families. Every adoption means one more life saved and one more family made complete.
During the 2026-2027 season, we will have also sponsored one rescue dog with K9s for Warriors. They will rescue a handful of dogs from Hillsborough County’s Pet Resource Center, train them to become service dogs for Veterans, and one of them will be funded entirely by our foundation.
