Founded by Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin and his wife Mariah Godwin, the Team Godwin Foundation reflects their shared values: hard work, compassion, integrity, and a deep belief in lifting others up.
For Chris and Mariah, this work is deeply personal. As a professional athlete who has reached the highest level, Chris understands the power of opportunity, and what it means to be seen, supported, and believed in.
As lifelong animal lovers who have opened their home to rescue pets, the Godwins have experienced firsthand the healing and joy that come from giving vulnerable animals a second chance.
They also recognize that too many young people face barriers that have nothing to do with their potential, and everything to do with their circumstances.
These experiences drive the mission of the Team Godwin Foundation: To uplift at-risk youth and animals alike. Because both deserve advocates. Both deserve second chances. And both deserve our very best.

We support animal welfare organizations through funding, resources, and adoption initiatives that help animals find safe and loving homes.
